The process to deploy Scratch involves downloading the standalone Scratch installer and deploying the installation via a BCX MSI Package Task.

Download

The download link for Scratch MSI (Scratch1.4.msi.installer.msi.zip) is on this web page:

https://scratch.mit.edu/scratch_1.4/

Extract the .zip using WinRar or WinZip (or any software that can extract files).

Next, you need to copy the Scratch1.4.msi file to your packages$ share or distribution point. (See the readme for info about customisation using the .ini file)

eg \\servername\packages$\MSI\Scratch

If the installation file has been downloaded from the Internet it now needs to be unblocked

Installation Instructions

You can now create an MSI Install package task to deploy Scratch.


After adding the task, only assign to a few individual testing stations to test deployment
