The process to deploy Google Chrome involves downloading the standalone Google Chrome installer and deploying the installation via a BCX MSI Package Task.

Download

Direct download link for Google Chrome MSI .zip (GoogleChromeStandaloneEnterprise.msi):

https://cloud.google.com/chrome-enterprise/browser/download

Next, you need to unzip the download and copy the GoogleChromeStandaloneEnterprise.msi file to your packages$ share or distribution point.

eg \\servername\packages$\MSI\Google Chrome

If the installation file has been downloaded from the Internet it now needs to be unblocked

How to unblock files downloaded from the Internet for Deployment.

Installation Instructions

You can now create an MSI Install package task to deploy Google Chrome.

After adding the task, only assign to a few individual testing stations to test deployment

Chrome Group Policy

You can configure settings for Chrome via Group Policy, however note: these are machine settings.

The policies are included in the .zip already downloaded. Add these to your GPO central store.
